Midsommer isn’t scary but really unsettling. There is just something wonderful in its structure, a break up movie wrapped up in Swedish mythology and inspired by The Wicker Man. Writer and director Ari Aster is audacious and though he may not land every hit, the confidence of his swing will keep you in your seat.
