Based on Ian McEwans 2001 best seller, this 2007 film launched James McAvoy to stardom and made Kiera Knightly a household name. In the film they play the doomed couple whoes chance at love is ruined by Saorsie Ronan’s character Briony. The film earned over 120 award nominations and scooped up a solid 35 of them by the end of 2009.
