Movie-Still Monday: Signs

SIGNS TV2
Rory Culkin (Gabriel), Joaquin Phoenix (The Master), Mel Gibson ( The Patriot) and Abigal Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) in M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs (2002)

With M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit opening this weekend we thought we could take a look back at one of our favorite Shyamalan films. Sign’s a cousin of Close Encounters, is a well paced, dread-laden, faith-based mystery, technically wonderful film.

Signs is a thriller set in Bucks County, Pennsylvania focusing on the mysterious appearance of a five-hundred-foot design of circles and lines carved into the crops of the family farm. Graham Hess is the family patriarch who is tested in his journey to find the truth behind the unfolding mystery. – Touchstone Films
