In 1984 Kevin Bacon danced his way into our hearts as Ren McCormack, the bad boy from Chicago. His character moves to the small town of Bomont,Georgia where dancing and rock music have been outlawed. The movie was a box-office smash and catapulted Bacon into fame and even spurred a remake in 2011 with Kenny Wormald replacing Bacon as the lead.
