Movie-Still Monday: Red Dawn (1984)

With the cry “wolverines,” a group of teenage guerrilla fighters gun down their Soviet occupier. Red Dawn was part jingoistic American propaganda, part cathartic release from Cold War fears, and when it was released thirty years ago on August 10, 1984, it was the first movie to receive a PG-13 rating.
