In honor of Godzilla 2014’s huge opening weekend, as per Box Office Mojo bringing in an estimated $196,205,000 worldwide, I couldn’t resist sharing one of my favorite moments in the Godzilla film dynasty, the minuscule Peanut Sisters (Emi Ito, Yumi Ito).

The twin sisters portrayed miniature priestesses, Shobijin of Mothra’s Infant Island, sang Mothra songs, and were two of Japan’s first pop sensations.
