Having just marathon-ed through director Jane Campion’s (mini series – it is much more than that) Top Of The Lake. I was compelled to travel back trough her filmography and re-watched this auteurs masterpiece, The Piano, for which she was nominated for the Academy Awards and won the Palme d’Or.
