Media For Lunch: Croissant de Triomphe

Croissant de Triomphe, starring Mickey Mouse is the lastest short to be released by Disney after scoring an Oscar with it’s animated film Paperman.
Croissant de Triomphe — a play on Paris’ famed monument, the Arc de Triomphe — it follows hero Mickey as he speeds through the City of Light, battling heavy traffic and other obstacles, to deliver croissants to Minnie’s cafe. Though the film is entirely in French, anyone can enjoy its simple storyline. Like Paperman the short is a blend of hand-drawn 2D animation and computer graphics. They take us back to Disney’s classic aesthetic from the 30’s, and also taking inspiration from the animation studio’s 1950s and 60s cartoons for their look.
