  • February 24th: Argo was named Best Picture at the 85th Annual Academy Awards, while Life of Pi walked away with the most (4) Oscars. Daniel Day-Lewis, Jennifer Lawrence, Christoph Waltz & Anne Hathaway took home the acting prizes. Meanwhile, Adele added an Oscar to her 2013 award mantle after winning a Golden Globe and Grammy earlier this year. How’s your New Year’s Resolution going? 
    • February 24thIdentity Thief climbed back to the top spot at the box office this weekend, while Dwayne Johnson’s latest, Snitch, was the runner-up and A Good Day to Die Hard dropped 50% in its second frame. I just know the Best Actor race between Jason Bateman, The Rock & Bruce Willis is going to be really contentious next year.     • February 23rd: Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 won an impressive seven Golden Raspberry Awards, including a Razzie for leading actress Kristen Stewart. When told about the dubious honor, Stewart stammered, sulked and looked incredibly uncomfortable. So, business as usual. Source: ABC News
      • February 23rd: Also taking place on Oscar Eve, was the 28th Annual Independent Spirit Awards, where Silver Linings Playbook dominated with wins in the best picture, screenplay, director and actress categories. Matthew McConaughey also snagged a win for Best Supporting Male for Magic Mike, which conceivable could’ve gone to his thong. Source: The Hollywood Reporter
        • February 21st: Michael Bay announced via his website that Megan Fox, his estranged Transformers star, would be starring in the reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Finally the Facebook generation’s Ingmar Bergman and Liv Ullman together again. Source: MichaelBay.com
