Here are the five men competing for best actor in this year’s 85th Academy Awards: Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln, Denzel Washington for Flight, Hugh Jackman for Les Misérables, Joaquin Phoenix for The Master, and Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook.
It looks very likely that Daniel Day-Lewis, already a two time Oscar winner, will take home the award for Lincoln. The only contender who might come close to challenging Day-Lewis is Joaquin Phoenix, but it seems extremely doubtful that anyone can take down Lincoln.
