Movie-Still Monday: This Means War (2012)

In 2012 Chris Pine and Tom Hardy spent an hour and a half fighting for Reese Witherspoon’s affection in the romantic spy comedy This Means War. In the film Pine and Hardy play best friends who fall for the same woman (Witherspoon), the catch? They both happen to be spy’s. While the film wasn’t a critical success, it did end up grossing $156,491,279 worldwide.

The season of the blockbuster has arrived! Celebrate, cinephiles with the minds of teenage boys! Flawlessly constructed jokes aside, this summer looks set to bring back some oldies but goodies, as well as our seasonal dose of Superhero films. Our Two Cents: This writer saw this film at Tribeca and was less than impressed.
