Rebel Without a Cause, is a 1955 drama set in Los Angeles, California. The movie stars James Dean as Jim Stark, a rebellious teenager, and Natalie Wood as Judy, a popular teenager who Dean’s character has eyes for. The movie received rave reviews for its dramatic story line as well a praise for all the actors involved; especially Dean and Wood. Although Dean passed before the movies release, his performance in the movie has made him a timeless role model and celebrity. He also received many accolades posthumously , including having the movie added to the Library of Congress’s National Film Registry in 1990.
