Movie Still Monday: Bob Hoskins R.I.P.

This past April 29 British acting icon Bob Hoskins died at the age of 71. Hoskins was best known for his roles in films Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Long Good Friday, and Hook. He retired from screen work in 2012 after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and had most recently been battling pneumonia. The star was raised in north London and was well-known for playing Cockney and East End gangster characters. He was nominated for an Oscar and won a BAFTA and Golden Globe for his performance in the 1986 film Mona Lisa.  Most recently, Hoskins played one of the seven dwarves in Snow White and The Huntsman, which starred Kristen Stewart.
