The Last Shark, directed by Enzo Castellari, is best known for the Universal Pictures lawsuit that cut short the film’s North American theatrical release and subsequent releases barred due to the blatant similarities to Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster Jaws and its sequel Jaws II. The Last Shark lives on in movie infamey, on laser disc bootlegs, YouTube and on Amazon.com. Worth watching, if like me, you are into bad movie good. -MD
