Once again, we offered you a chance to vote outside of the box, and you responded. You voted in our Special MoviefiedNYC Nomination write in vote for The Master as Best Picture. Pretty good considering the fact that it did not make the cut for best picture or director, but it was on the top of many critics lists for 2012. Obviously our readers are not members of the Academy Awards.
There was a four-way tie for second place with Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained , Les Misérables, and Life of Pi. No love or votes this time for Amour, as well as Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Zero Dark Thirty, and for our special write in vote for Holy Motors.
