…and the winner in MoviefiedNYC’s Best Actress Oscar Poll is Jennifer Lawrence for Silver Linings Playbook. You gave a bit more love to Lawrence in our poll while the critics have been giving a lot more love to our second place winner, Jessica Chastain for Zero Dark Thirty. After Lawrence winning this year’s Screen Actors Guild Award, it looks like Jennifer and Jessica will battle for Best Actress, but don’t count out our third place winner, 86 year-old Emmanuelle Riva. Come Oscar night, she just might slip in to receive all of the Academy’s amour and win the night.
