Twenty years ago Steven Spielberg first amazed audiences with realistic looking brontosauruses, velociraptors and a giant T-rex. Now the original Jurassic Park is coming back to theaters, this time in 3D.
The film is set for an April 5, 2013, release date. The original debuted in 1993. At the time of its release, Jurassic Park’s special effects were considered revolutionary and still are. It won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 1994.
