Producer, director and actor Ben Affleck’s new film Argo, came out of the 39th Telluride Film Festival swinging! It appears from everything I can dig up that Warner Bros., not only has a hit on its hands, but has a major Oscar contender in several categories. Argo is based on the true story of CIA’s rescue mission to free six US diplomats, in which agents posed as a Hollywood film crew in order to escape from Tehran.
Argo’s release date in the US – 10/12/2012 at a movie theater near you.
